  • So I'm considering going into nursing but I've read horror stories online of people getting to there final placement and then failing, therefore failing there entire course. The idea of doing a 3 year course just to fail at the very end is daunting honestly. Do you know of anyone this has happened to or have any experience with it?

Also one thing that has sat on my mind is occasionally I get cold sores, what is the procedure with student nursing and nurses in general and cold sores. Are you required to take time off, or continue working? I just dont want to be left stumped If it were to happen during a placement. I cant seem to find an answer online either. Any help is appreciated.
